About The Founder
Dolores Kokinos, founder of the Empowerment Cafe and creator of The Empowerment Principles, has been a business analyst and corporate trainer for over 28 years, helping organizations boost their efficiency and productivity. Her thirst for uncovering the secrets to human behavior led her to discover The Empowerment Principles which are now helping so many of her clients find peace and success in their personal and professional lives.
Through her experience and study, she created a unique approach she calls "The Empowerment Principles," which allow people to understand underlying thoughts they may have that result in negative behaviors that have allowed them to become peaceful and happy and stop repeating behaviors that are counter productive to desired results.
Ten years ago, she began working as a consultant to individuals as well as organizations and businesses, helping people make positive changes at home as well as in their business life using The Empowerment Principles. In addition to her professional work, Dolores has studied psychology, spirituality, business management, mediation, quantum physics and personal motivation, and understands and now teaches the best methods for bringing about change that creates positive results.
She's been teaching her methodology to teachers, executives, community leaders, youth care providers, young adults, mothers, fathers and children ever since. Her awareness, inspiration, motivation and effective teaching methods bring about success for her clients time and time again.
About The Empowerment Principles
The Empowerment Principles are the secret to helping you untangle your negative thoughts about yourself—and very importantly the behaviors that result from those thoughts. Only then can you understand your subconscious or conscious motivation behind the thoughts and behaviors that stand in your way to get the job, the intimate relationship, the friends and the weight that you want—or any other goal.
We call these problematic thoughts and behaviors "negative," but you should not blame yourself—you must learn these life skills, but no one teaches them as a whole. Until now!
Positive thinking is only the tip of the iceberg. If your thoughts are tangled with negative beliefs about yourself, you must first separate and understand them in order to really learn to think positively.
The Empowerment Principles first show you the five foundation blocks of happiness and the five facets of life. It's important that the five foundations are healthy in each of your five facets of life in order to be truly happy and peaceful. In addition, your reactions to those foundation blocks will fall within five behaviors. The principles also reveals the four interpersonal relationships we have with other people.
It’s your relationship with the five foundations of happiness that drive the resulting thoughts and behaviors. If your relationships with those foundations aren't healthy or best serving you, your resulting thoughts and behaviors will not serve you. That's why you aren't getting results you like in some areas! It's what's behind depression, anti-social behaviors, hurt feelings and codependency or any other problem you may have.
Once these secrets are revealed, The Empowerment Principles provide you with the steps to achieve and maintain healthy relationships with each of the "five foundations" in each of the "five facets" of your life so that you will naturally make better choices. Dolores developed the Principles as the result of 25 years of research, study and experience into human behavior.
